Seafood Town Chinese Restaurant is a chinese restaurant in Torrance, California. It is listed at 22922 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, CA 90505, which places it among the local businesses of Torrance that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, seafood restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (310) 378-0785. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is seafoodtownrestaurant.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 995 reviews, which is a strong result for a chinese restaurant in Torrance and suggests consistent service.

Torrance is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Torrance follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

BEWARE of sketchy business practice. Look at your receipts! They charge a 18% service charge for 5+ people. Then you get the credit card slip without the original receipt (that details the 18% automatic tip) asking you to tip AGAIN. The food was good. But if I didn't look at my receipt I would never have caught this and would have tipped twice on the combined subtotal and tax amount! ONE STAR for deceptive practices.

The food here is considered decent and my wife had been here before we came together today. To start things off the server brought us a small bowl of their hot & sour soup which ended up being quite delicious and towards the authentic flavor. Next up we tried their beef chow fun with black bean sauce (which to my surprise was on the sweet side of things) other than that it was quite tasty. Their chicken Lo mein was good in flavor then after that to follow was Singaporean noodles with shrimp which was also good in flavor. To end this visit finishing the rounds up with their shrimp fried rice. Decent in flavor however could use to thoroughly cooked or steam the rice just a tad bit longer for there was uncooked pieces in the mix. I read with another review here, that the same thing happened to them however will give them another try. I'm curious to try their orange chicken (which usually I don't get at Chinese restaurants) we saw the guests next to us order some and it looked quite yummy. Restaurant was clean, organized, and the service was decent. I won't ding the review with a hard knock on the sweet beef chowfun because every cook has their own unique way, however I'm quite detai

I haven't been here in a couple of months...today I ordered my favorite dishes- their shrimp fried rice and beef with green peppers, to go...I was very, very disappointed..The SFR doesn't even look the same. Shrimp fried rice is either brown or white NOT YELLOW!!!!and it wasn't evenly cooked...it had a lot of hard rice grains..wow..and a very small portion of beef w/ green peppers - the container it came in was close to the size of the white rice container that comes with it...I was really disappointed & shocked with the food quality of my take out order.

This is our go to Chinese food place for decades now.Im happy to see that they are still trying in this economy and after pandemic like most of the old businesses are closing down they are still trying to serve delicious food and still stay reasonable and affordable.I was here last night with my parents and my kids and im surprised that they are turning into modern ambiance now.they are under construction and by looking at it they are doing good I cant wait to see the final outcome and will definitely be back again.Incase your wondering what I always order from them is there famous salt and pepper pork chop, house special fried rice, house special beef, salt and pepper shrimp head on and the complimentary dessert at the end. we spent 100$ including tip and lots of to go food and for a dinner price i think it still affordable and worth it.

β€œI recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful Chinese restaurant, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I stepped in, The highlight of my meal was definitely the Beef Chow Fun, a delicious dish of flat rice noodles stir-fried with tender beef, crisp vegetables, and savory sauce. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the portion size was generous. I also had the pleasure of trying the Shrimp Fried Rice, which was packed with flavor and loaded with succulent shrimp. The rice was cooked to perfection, each grain distinct and fragrant. The addition of fresh vegetables added a delightful crunch to every bite. The tofu dish I ordered was a pleasant surprise. The tofu was silky-smooth, and the sauce infused it with a delectable blend of sweet and savory flavors. It was a vegetarian delight that left me craving for more. Overall, when it comes to satisfying your craving for Chinese cuisine, this place is perfect. The diverse menu offers a wide range of options, and the quality of the food is outstanding. Whether you’re looking for classic favorites or want to explore new flavors, this restaurant has it all. The portions are generous, ensuring you
